My approach targets developing healthy thought patterns and behaviors that will assist individuals in managing the demands and stressors of everyday life.  With adequate tools, we can achieve positive changes, gain resourcefulness, and improve our ability to get our needs met. I bring an integrative and client centered approach to developing overall wellness. Therapy should focus on gaining new perspectives on your unique situation, allowing you to shift mindsets to better benefit your day to day life.  I recognize that making the choice to engage in therapy is not always easy, and I try to create an atmosphere where people can feel comfortable, safe, and not judged.

About Me
I have 25 year’s experience working with substance abuse, anxiety, depression and mood disorders. I focus on incorporating wellness into your everyday life, which is important for both adults and teens. I focus on building a good rapport and listening effectively by creating a positive and supportive environment. My approach targets building internal strength and resourcefulness. Understanding that dynamics of emotions and behaviors greatly impact our lives and relationships is a primary therapeutic goal. Structured therapy sessions should allow people to assess their choices and find solutions in a validating setting.  Improving overall well being is the paramount goal. I believe that when people feel empowered they are able to initiate positive changes with guidance, feedback, and support from a neutral person.
